How does custom housing work?

You have the opportunity to customise your new home from a range of pre-designed customisable homes that have already been granted planning permission. 

Horeham Shaw offers a range of 12 detached homes ranging from 3 to 5 bedrooms. 

Decide on the number and size of bedrooms, the number of bathrooms, and how each floor is configured to create a space that works perfectly for you.

There are options to extend the floorspace, either single or double storey extensions. 

Select the materials for your build including roof tiles, brick colour and style, window style and colour.

Your plot will be prepared, all enabling and communal landscaping works will be completed, and essential services-water, drainage, high-speed broadband, and electricity will be connected to your plot boundary.

Once you have reserved your plot and created your bespoke design, your builder will apply for Building Regulations approval, which normally takes about 8 weeks.

You can choose to build with the project’s recommended construction partner, Arazu or appoint your own builder.   When you purchase your plot, you will simultaneously enter into a build contract for the construction of your home.  Once you have completed your purchase, you'll have 18 months to complete your home.
