There are excellent recreational facilities nearby including equestrian pursuits, water sports at Bewl Water Reservoir, and multiple golf courses. There is an excellent choice of educational facilities in the general area, catering for both state and private sectors. The nearest mainline station is located at Stonegate, some five miles away, serving London Bridge in around an hour.
